All My ATmosphere Blogs, Pt. 1
As a blog-a-holic, I have way too many blogs! Discover them all!
As I've said a million times, I am a blog-a-holic. It is not just a hobby or fun past time, it is a hardcore addiction. I will literally come up with any reason to write a blog, especially in the name of "experimenting" with a new platform. This blog is literally an example of that!
So, when blogging platforms started popping up in the ATmosphere, you know I quickly jumped into creating. I've experimented with them all but have mostly stuck to 3 (and now 4) of them. They each offer something I like and I seem to be able to endlessly blog on them. I figured I'd tell you all about them as the first, second and third post in this ATmosphere miniseries (because I have too many to list in just one post).
Pckt
Pckt was technically the second blogging platform I experimented with. I immediately fell in love with the look and feel of the place but I had already started a blog that was kinda my main writing spot. It took me a long while to decide what this blog would be and I'm still mostly undecided.
Up until now, it's mostly been deeper thoughts on my BlueSky posts. I'll post a short thought on BlueSky, then a few months later I'll revisit that post and add any additional thoughts I might have about it. Sometimes I'm a huge fan of writing like this and sometimes I find it to be a serious pain the butt. It's the biggest reason why my Pckt blog gets updated the second least.
However, I'm absolutely loving the Notes feature and it keeps me coming back to Pckt day after day.
Offprint
Offprint was the third blogging platform I experimented with and I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about the space. It feels very professional and I don't really relate to that and I've technically changed what this blog was going to be at least three times. That being said, I finally settled on the final iteration and I'm hoping that Offprint will start updating stuff soon to further inspire me.
This blog is still a major work in progress. I'm a big believer in not telling anyone about your blog until you have at least 3 posts published and I just hit that threshold, so this blog is mostly still on the downlow.
Essentially, I've been an adult content creator for over a decade and in that time, I've accumulated a lot of information related to that. This blog is basically just a place for me to dump it all out of my brain with the hope that someone might find it useful. I have a lot of ideas for posts here but writing them is pretty mentally intense, so it takes me way way longer to publish posts here - way longer!
While I once posted on BlueSky:
I have to admit that part of the reason I put these two blogs into one post is because (a) I'm a snarky bitch who likes to start something and these two are always dueling (in jest) and I'm playing along and (b) I find them to be comparable platforms but like the opposite sides of the same coin. Unlike the other blogging platforms I've chosen to use, they both have more limitations on blogging (for example, on a free plan you can only have one blog) and they both offer very specific vibes (Pckt is playful and Offprint is serious).
So now, onto the next blogs in the ATmosphere. Remember you can see all the posts in this series by checking out the ATmosphere tag.
